Steps to success

Video Demonstration

  • HEAT PRESS SETTINGS

    • Set your heat press to 320 degrees
    • Set your press to medium to medium to heavy pressure

    Press times:

    1. Pre press: 5 seconds
    2. Main press: 8-12 seconds
    3. Final press: 5 seconds

  • PRESS THRICE

    • First, pre press your garment for 5 seconds. This releases moisture, irons wrinkles and flattens fibers
    • Second, align your design before pressing for 8-12 seconds.
    • Peel the backing off your transfer with one quick movement diagonally while it's still hot. If your design has a lot of detail or halftones, it's recommended to let it cool before peeling.
    • Third, press again for 5 seconds with a canvas or textured mat to create a great finish and pick up any residual adhesive specks. You can also use a blank tshirt or sheet of teflon for this step.

  • NOTES ON FINISHING

    Do a final press to ensure longevity of print. People vary in their preference but common topsheets to put over the graphic include:

    • Teflon: leaves a shinier finish
    • Parchment paper: leaves a duller, matte finish
    • Textured teflon sheet: leaves a textured finish
    • Piece of canvas: leaves a matte, textured finish
    • Old tshirt: leaves a slight textured matte finish

✅ 300 DPI resolution
✅ RGB color mode preferred
✅ Vibrant colors with rich black if color mode is CMYK (C:30, M:30, Y:30, K:100)
✅ No fine details under 2pt thickness
✅ Design is at the exact print size
